Receptionist
North Sydney 12 Month Fixed Term Nov-26 to Oct-27 Providing Professional Reception Services
CPB Contractors is seeking a proactive and organised Receptionist to provide professional reception services to internal and external stakeholders. This role is a 12-month parental leave cover starting in November 2026.
About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to be both the welcoming and helpful face and voice of CPB Contractors assisting internal and external stakeholders with meetings phone calls emails and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area.
- Greeting and assisting visitors including ensuring appropriate sign in procedures take place.
- Answering the main switchboard and effectively directing calls
- Effectively recording and passing on messages to relevant staff.
- Training relief staff in all aspects of reception.
- Keeping records of processes and procedures for relief staff.
- Organising mail postage and couriers.
- Maintaining key reception contacts.
- Coordinating meeting/training room bookings.
- Managing the Corporate Reception email inbox.
- Planning and scheduling own work to meet required timelines and outputs.
- Understanding output requirements and clarifying as appropriate.
- Assisting the Facilities Manager with day-to-day facilities-related tasks including repairs and maintenance reporting car parking security contractors attendance and other ad hoc facilities or office administration activities.
