Reception & Workplace Support
Job Summary
Colliers WMS is seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team on an initial contract basis supporting a prestigious corporate client in Melbourne CBD. This opportunity offers the chance to become an integral part of a highly professional workplace environment delivering exceptional front-of-house experiences while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy corporate office.
As the first point of contact for visitors clients and employees you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional workplace experience. Beyond reception responsibilities you will support meeting room operations events office administration and workplace services ensuring the office operates smoothly and efficiently each day.
Key accountabilities will include but not be limited to:
- Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience for all visitors clients and employees.
- Managing incoming calls enquiries and correspondence ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Coordinating meeting room bookings room set-up and basic AV support to ensure meetings run seamlessly.
- Maintaining reception meeting rooms and shared workspaces to a consistently high standard.
- Managing visitor access sign-in procedures and workplace security processes.
- Coordinating courier services incoming and outgoing mail and parcel deliveries.
- Arranging refreshments and catering requirements for meetings and events.
- Supporting workplace events functions and client engagement activities.
- Assisting with general office administration and operational support activities as required.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders visitors and service partners to deliver an outstanding workplace experience.
Qualifications :
As a collaborative and service-driven member of the Workplace Experience team we are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a corporate reception workplace experience hospitality or customer service role.
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating positive experiences.
- Professional presentation and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and workplace technology platforms.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a broader team environment.
- A commitment to service excellence and building strong stakeholder relationships.
Additional Information :
This is a full-time office-based contract opportunity located in Melbourne CBD operating standard business hours.
The initial engagement is offered on a contract basis with the potential for extension subject to client requirements and business needs.
