Job Summary

  • Part-time (0.8 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
  • Base salary range: $99040 $104669 p.a. plus 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

  • Deliver high-level administrative governance and operational support to the Director Business Manager and Executive Committee while helping drive the day-to-day success of the Institute.
  • Coordinate impactful events workshops forums and stakeholder engagements managing logistics communications and participant experience from planning through to post-event reporting.
  • Contribute to DSIs profile and influence through digital marketing social media website content newsletters and stakeholder communications that showcase research programs and initiatives.
  • Provide high-level project and financial administration including budget tracking procurement invoice and expense processing financial reporting and supporting the effective delivery of Institute projects and initiatives.

About you

  • Relevant qualifications in business administration marketing communications or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of training and demonstrated experience.
  • Proven experience in event management stakeholder engagement and project coordination within a complex or professional environment.
  • Strong financial administration skills including budget monitoring invoice processing reimbursements and reporting with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience developing digital communications across social media websites and email marketing platforms with excellent written communication and content creation skills.
  • Highly organised proactive and collaborative with the ability to manage competing priorities build effective relationships and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
