In this role youll:
Reporting to the Director Interface (Utilities) you will manage key utility and third-party interfaces across the project lifecycle. The role also requires strong stakeholder engagement effective management of high-risk interfaces and integration of utility requirements into organisational frameworks and systems.
Working across all Sydney Metro projects - including WSA Metro West and South West Metro - you will support multiple work streams by providing expert advice on technical interface matters managing interface agreements and guiding the approach to third party engagement.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Delivery Teams Design Teams Legal Property Commercial and Operations while maintaining effective relationships with key utility authorities including Ausgrid Endeavour Energy and Sydney Water.
This temporary position for up to 48 months is located in our 680 George Street Sydney office. The role is governed by our hybrid working model which forms part of the organisations Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance and approved remote working.

About you
You bring a strong understanding of utilities and how they interact across the planning procurement and delivery phases of major infrastructure projects.
You have demonstrated experience identifying and managing issues and risks associated with complex third-party interfaces and you understand how these can impact project outcomes.
You have the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and provide clear practical advice on interface management challenges. You work collaboratively communicate with influence and can navigate competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
You will have a tertiary qualification in project management or engineering or equivalent experience in an interface coordination or management role involving critical stakeholders - particularly utility authorities - on large scale and complex infrastructure projects.
