Project Manager

Downer is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of asphalt spray seal and road maintenance projects across the Northern Territory. Based out of Berrimah you will manage project operations end-to-end while contributing to business growth tendering and customer relationship development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage end-to-end delivery of asphalt spray seal and road maintenance projects ensuring outcomes meet time cost quality and safety objectives.
• Coordinate resources including labour plant materials and subcontractors across multiple projects.
• Contribute to pricing tendering and contract negotiations to support business growth.
• Build maintain and grow strong client relationships to drive repeat business opportunities.
• Monitor project performance manage risks and resolve issues to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead and develop project teams providing coaching direction and performance feedback.
• Promote and lead a strong health and safety culture across all project activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement innovation and operational best practice across the business.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in project or operations management within civil road or surfacing environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in tendering budgeting and cost control.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience leading teams and driving performance across multiple projects.
• Sound knowledge of safety environmental and quality requirements.
• Excellent organisational problem-solving and communication skills.
