About the role

This position leads and supports the delivery of reactive projects for the Water Corporation that enable the ongoing provision of water and wastewater services for the Perth metropolitan area. Please note that for operational reasons this role is wholly site and office based.

What you can expect with this role

Lead the delivery of reactive projects working closely with stakeholders to ensure all corporate regulatory and service level requirements are met.

Manage the planning and scheduling of reactive projects keeping a close eye on timelines resources and cashflow to ensure smooth execution.

Provide regular reporting on project performance ensuring business and financial outcomes are tracked and measured against agreed targets.

Oversee project budgets schedules and resourcing requirements identifying potential risks early and working with stakeholders to manage them effectively.

You will develop and maintain relationships with your key stakeholders and leaders and also with field staff and Team Leaders and support staff

Your skills and experience

For this role we are looking for great talent with:

You will have a Mechanical engineering or trade background (highly desirable) with specific water industry experience (pumps valves etc)

You will have considerable experience managing construction and maintenance projects in a large infrastructure based organisation

You will have knowledge of O&M practices and issues relating to the delivery of water and wastewater services

Current drivers licence for site based work

High level stakeholder management and influencing skills
