About the Job

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join one of our major Sydney projects and provide direct support to the Project Manager in the successful delivery of the project from design through to completion.

This role will suit someone with experience delivering high-end residential or mixed-use construction projects who enjoys taking ownership working closely with site teams consultants and subcontractors and driving project outcomes.

Youll have the opportunity to contribute to complex technically challenging projects while developing your career within a highly regarded and growing construction business.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager in the delivery of the project

Manage RFIs shop drawings design coordination and consultant interfaces

Review constructability and identify design or coordination issues

Monitor project programs and subcontractor performance

Assist with procurement variations and contract administration processes

Manage quality assurance documentation ITPs and inspections

Coordinate consultant PCA and authority inspections

Monitor defects and drive close-out activities

Support WHS quality and compliance requirements across the project

Assist with project reporting and project close-out documentation

Work closely with Site Managers and Foremen to achieve program milestones

About You

Degree or Diploma in Construction Management Building Engineering Quantity Surveying or similar

Experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer within the building construction industry

Exposure to high-end residential and mixed-use construction projects

Strong understanding of construction methodologies design coordination and project delivery

Experience using Aconex or similar document management platforms

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing project team
