Job Summary
JLE Group are looking for an experienced Project Administrator to provide administrative commercial and project coordination support to ensure the successful delivery of electrical infrastructure and installation project in Launceston Tasmania.
About the role
The role is responsible for supporting project teams through document control subcontractor onboarding procurement administration reporting timesheet management safety documentation and stakeholder communications. This position acts as the central coordination point between site personnel subcontractors clients suppliers and the broader JLE project team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support to Project Managers Project Engineers and Site Supervisors.
- Maintain project registers.
- Assist with preparation of project correspondence.
- Coordinate project filing and record management.
- Ensure project records remain current and audit-ready.
- Manage controlled project documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding of employees and subcontractors.
- Coordinate site access requirements.
- Raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Track material deliveries and procurement status.
- Support inventory and material tracking activities.
- Assist with administration of safety systems.
- Assist with project cost tracking.
- Assist project teams with day-to-day coordination activities.

What youll bring
Essential:
- Certificate III or higher in Business Administration Project Administration or similar experience.
- Current Drivers License.
- White Card.
- Previous experience in project administration or construction administration.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work within strict deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable:
- Certificate IV in Project Management Practice.
- WHS Awareness Training.
- Document Control Training.
- Experience within construction electrical infrastructure or engineering industries.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 Sharepoint SharePoint Project Management Systems ERP Systems.
- Experience supporting large-scale projects ($10M).
