About the Role

This 16-month contract opportunity will lead the delivery of the Universitys Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Program a major cyber security initiative aimed at modernising how users access systems and information across the University.

Reporting to the Associate Director Cyber Security you will oversee the planning coordination and delivery of multiple interconnected projects while working closely with stakeholders across the University and external partners. The role offers the opportunity to lead a high-profile program drive meaningful change and deliver lasting improvements to security compliance and user experience.

About the Team

The Cyber team within Information Management and Technology Services (IMTS) plays a critical role in protecting and enhancing the Universitys digital environment. Working across the organisation the team partners with academic and professional areas to deliver secure reliable and future-focused technology solutions. With a strong focus on collaboration innovation and continuous improvement the team is leading several strategic initiatives designed to strengthen cyber security and support the Universitys long-term goals

What Youll Bring

  • Experience leading complex programs or large-scale technology projects.
  • Relevant program or project management qualifications postgraduate qualifications or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience delivering cyber security identity management digital transformation or enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Single Sign-On (SSO) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Experience working with cloud-based and SaaS platforms.
  • Strong program planning scheduling governance and risk management skills.
  • Commercial acumen including vendor management contract negotiations and budget oversight.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation
