Summary:
The Production Worker is responsible for assisting in meat processing operations while ensuring all procedures comply with company standards and food safety regulations. The role involves handling products during washing and draining processes moving materials and waste maintaining cleanliness and sanitation and supporting daily production operations in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in washing draining and handling meat products during processing operations.
Lift move and transfer meat products tubs and materials safely throughout the production area.
Operate and use trolleys hooks tubs and related equipment as part of daily operations.
Remove and dispose of production waste including fat bones and excess materials.
Handle and transport production supplies including salt bags and other materials.
Maintain cleanliness sanitation and compliance with company health and safety procedures.

Must have a vehicle for transportation
Required Skills:
Indicative Skill Level Most occupations in this unit group have a level of skill commensurate with the qualifications and experience outlined below. AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
