We deliver quality geotechnical site investigation analysis and design advice across the construction infrastructure mining and energy sectors.

As a result of continued work winning our Perth-based site investigation team is looking to bring on experienced geotechnical professionals. Specifically you will step into a Principal Geotechnical Engineer/ Principal Engineering Geologist role acting as a technical authority within our consultancy.

You will lead site investigation (SI) projects in Western Australia working on a diverse portfolio ranging from inner-city buildings and infrastructure to remote projects in the energy and mining space.

About You

  • Qualified Geotechnical Engineer Civil Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 15 years experience in a geotechnical consulting environment
  • Strong experience in scoping design and executing onshore and nearshore geotechnical investigations
  • Ability to interpret raw field data propose lab testing regimes and assess complex ground models to deliver high quality interpretive reports
  • Act as the primary technical contact for Clients from proposal to delivery stage
  • Demonstrated leadership experience including mentoring and developing junior engineers and engineering geologists
  • Strong analytical capability with working knowledge of geotechnical software such as Plaxis Rocscience RSPile Settle3 Leapfrog
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate quality work
  • Collaborative team-focused approach with the ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Full Australian working rights; permanent residency or citizenship is preferred
