Principal Civil Engineering
Job Summary
- Lead multidisciplinary rail civil design and delivery (earthworks formation drainage utilities stations grade separations) from options through IFC ensuring constructability and safe delivery in brownfield possessionconstrained corridors.
- Own design assurance and Safety in Design to MTM V/Line RPV and ARTC standards and ISO 9001 managing compliance departures/concessions verification and closeout of assurance evidence.
- Coordinate technical interfaces across track structures OHLE signalling roads and utilities and secure thirdparty and authority approvals to derisk interfaces and program.
- Plan and control scope schedule resources and budget; drive risk/opportunity and change control; support construction with staging/possession planning and timely TQ/RFI responses.
- Build client relationships and support business development by shaping win strategies and authoring technical content for EOIs/RFTs while mentoring and developing our civil engineering team and championing digital delivery (OpenRail/OpenRoads 12d CDE).
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- 15 years of civil engineering experience with strong focus on rail/transit projects in Australia
- Proven delivery experience on Victorian infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of:
- Rail design standards (MTM V/Line ARTC)
- Complex urban rail interfaces and brownfield environments
