The role
We are looking for an experienced Practice Assistant to join ourM&A team based in this role you will support 2partners and a small team of lawyers.
Responsibilities
- Diary management travel booking and event coordination
- Billing and expense coordination
- File management including opening and closing files electronic and physical filing and scanning management of correspondence
- Client relationship management and administration tasks; working with our Business Development team assisting with client material preparation
- Prepare and amend routine and non-routine documents correspondence and presentations
- Any ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar position either in a Personal Assistant or Legal Assistant capacity
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experienced managing complex diaries and organising travel
- Able to work autonomously and draft basic correspondence and documents
- Previous experience in monthly billing using relevant financial software preferable
- Tech savvy with a good understanding of Microsoft Office
- Able and willing to use initiative to contribute to overall success of team
