About the Role
Working closely and collaboratively across Ruahs service areas the Policy & Project Officer as part of Ruahs governance team develops implements and evaluates Ruahs robust governance frameworks that align with best practice and comply with the organisations strategic direction and operational requirements.
This position is responsible for coordinating the development implementation and maintenance of Ruahs Policy Framework ensuring legislative compliance. This position will work closely with the Policy Risk and Assurance Mnager assisting them to coordinate organisational compliance activities.
Additionally this position will undertake and participate in improvement projects to support Ruahs quality risk and governance program including accreditation.
This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours per week between Monday to Friday.
What were looking for
The successful applicants will be required to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated experience of at least two (2) years in a policy quality or governance role.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal verbal and written communication skills (including report writing).
- Ability to work autonomously in a small team.
- Confidence in working with external stakeholders including funding bodies clients and community service providers.
- Ability to initiate interpret and report on policy in relation to quality risk and governance.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to meet timeframes.
- Demonstrated conceptual analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Considerable experience in using Microsoft Office 365 and quality risk management and governance systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of diversity and social inclusion including gender sexuality disability cultural age and linguistic diversity and Aboriginal culture.
