The role

As a Platform Administrator Salesforce you will play a key role in the administration configuration support and ongoing enhancement of the Departments Salesforce platform.

You will be responsible for maintaining platform health managing users and security troubleshooting issues supporting releases and implementing configuration changes to meet evolving business requirements. Working closely with business stakeholders architects developers and vendors you will help deliver scalable and sustainable Salesforce solutions that support business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering and supporting enterprise Salesforce environments.

  • Managing user accounts profiles permission sets and security controls.

  • Configuring Salesforce objects fields page layouts record types and flows.

  • Supporting incident problem and change management activities.

  • Developing reports dashboards and data quality improvements.

  • Assisting with release planning testing and deployment activities.

  • Identifying opportunities for platform optimisation and continuous improvement.

  • Working collaboratively with business and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.

  • Supporting governance compliance and platform best practice.

What you will bring to the role

  • Demonstrated experience administering and supporting Salesforce within a complex enterprise environment.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security including profiles permission sets sharing rules and role hierarchies.

  • Experience configuring Salesforce Lightning Platform components including custom objects fields validation rules reports and dashboards.

  • Experience designing and maintaining automation using Salesforce Flows.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

  • Experience supporting production environments incident management and service delivery processes.

  • Knowledge of release change and deployment practices within a Salesforce environment.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
