About the role

We currently have two vacancies available with the option to be based at either our Osborne Park or Canning Vale location.

As an In Service Maintenance Planner you will play a key role in ensuring our operational assets are maintained safely efficiently and reliably throughout their lifecycle.

Working closely with operations maintenance project and finance teams you will develop and coordinate maintenance plans support the integration of new assets into operational service and manage critical asset information within maintenance management systems.

You will contribute to asset performance reliability and compliance by analysing maintenance data supporting condition assessment activities and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive maintenance planning or asset management professional who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders solving problems and helping deliver sustainable operational outcomes for essential infrastructure.

What you can expect with this role

  • Developing and coordinating maintenance plans and requirements to support the safe and reliable operation of Water Corporation assets.
  • Working closely with operations maintenance project and finance teams to ensure maintenance activities are effectively planned and delivered.
  • Supporting the handover of new and upgraded assets by preparing maintenance documentation and ensuring asset information is complete and accurate.
  • Using asset management and maintenance systems (such as SAP or Maximo) to manage asset data support investigations and improve asset performance.
  • Monitoring asset condition and inspection programs helping to identify maintenance needs and opportunities to extend asset life.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing processes analysing maintenance data and recommending improvements to asset management practices.

Your skills and experience

For this role we are looking for great talent with:

  • Relevant trade or tertiary qualification in Engineering Asset Management Maintenance or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning asset management reliability or operational support within an infrastructure utilities industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP Maximo or similar enterprise asset management platforms.
  • Proven ability to analyse asset and maintenance data identify improvement opportunities and contribute to effective operational outcomes.
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build productive working relationships across multiple teams.
  • Strong problem-solving organisational and analytical capabilities with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing business needs.
