Payroll Officer

East Perth $56 per hour Immediate Start 2-Month Contract

We are seeking a confident and capable payroll professional to join a well-established organisation based in East Perth on a temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied payroll role and provide essential cover for approximately two months.

Working as part of the payroll function your key responsibilities will include:

• New employee onboarding
• Monthly payroll processing for approximately 130 permanent employees
• Processing payroll for approximately 50 players
• Fortnightly casual payroll for approximately 50 employees increasing to around 80 during the cricket season
• Fortnightly contractor payroll
• Payroll journals (desirable but not essential)
• General payroll administration and support

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

• Previous end-to-end payroll experience
• Access MicrOpay experience is highly desirable
• The ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills
• Immediate or short-notice availability

• $56 per hour Super
• Approximately 2-month temporary contract
