How you will make a difference
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our Finance Team within Sustainability on a part-time basis working 24 hours per week. Reporting to the Team Leader Sustainability this role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely end-to-end payroll services while providing support across accounts payable accounts receivable and general finance administration functions.
About you
You are experienced in end-to-end payroll processing with a strong understanding of payroll legislation compliance requirements WorkCover obligations and SCHADS Award interpretation. You are adaptable proactive and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment with a strong understanding and adherence to maintaining confidentiality.
You possess excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy ensuring payroll and financial records are maintained to the highest standard. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll/accounting systems including Employment Hero (preferable but not essential) will hold you good stead for this role. You have strong organisational and time management skills enabling you to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
You must have or be willing to obtain both a satisfactory National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
