Join our Holiday HQ OSHC team at Helping Hands Narangba and help create exciting engaging and unforgettable experiences for primary school children during school holidays. 

Whether youre a university student looking to build a career in teaching psychology social work or childcare or a teachers aide looking for school holiday work this role is designed to fit your lifestyle. Gain valuable hands-on experience with primary school-aged children while we work around your university timetable placements and other commitments.

This role will mainly work Holiday HQ shifts across school holidays block shifts 6am-6pm.

Qualifications :

Who are we looking for 

While were happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector here are a few qualities were looking for: 

  • Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
  • Availability in September school holidays 
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
  • A genuine love for working with children. 
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written. 
  • A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities. 
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check. 
  • Must have valid Australian work rights.
