(Shiftstypically 10am to 6pm daily but someflexibility will berequiredon occasions to meet the needs of the service)
Above Award Rates! Salary up to $103000 per annum (dependent on experience) 12.75% superannuation
This position is based at our beautiful White Rock Campus in the vibrant tropical city of Cairns.

About the Role
In this role the successful applicant will:
- Lead engaging OSHC programs across beforeschool afterschool and vacation care working closely with the Manager ECEC and OSHC Educational Leader to deliver fun meaningful and educational experiences for children.
- Ensure full compliance with National Education and Care Services Laws and Regulations uphold the ECA Code of Ethics and maintain all licensing and operational standards to the highest level.
- Provide strong team leadership by coordinating rosters mentoring educators and fostering a positive supportive and professional team culture that enhances program quality.
- Manage key administrative and financial processes including attendance records enrolment communication CCS submissions and followup of outstanding accounts to ensure smooth accurate and timely operations.
- Build strong relationships with children and families by understanding their needs supporting their wellbeing and ensuring programs reflect their interests and developmental goals.
- Contribute creatively and energetically to a vibrant school community bringing enthusiasm initiative and a commitment to highquality care that makes a lasting impact on childrens growth and confidence.

About You
To be successful in this role youare:
- Deeply committed to childrens wellbeing bringing a genuine interest in the development of primary aged students and a passion for creating inclusive engaging and meaningful experiences.
- Knowledgeable in OSHC compliance with an understanding of Education and Care Services Laws Regulations and the National Quality Standard or the ability and motivation to learn quickly and apply them confidently.
- A confident team leader who can guide mentor and support educators while fostering a positive collaborative and professional team culture
- A strong communicator with well-developed interpersonal written and verbal communication skills and the ability to resolve conflict respectfully and professionally.
- Purposeful in creating warm child centred environments with strengths in designing engaging activities nurturing family relationships and championing inclusive practice so every child feels seen valued and supported.
- Confident with Microsoft Office and open to learning new digital platforms that support teaching documentation and communication.
- Organised and detail driven demonstrating excellent time management accuracy in administrative tasks and the ability to coordinate multiple responsibilities smoothly
You Will Also Bring
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or similar qualification) or working towards attainment
- Experience in a similar role in a School environment
- Certificate CPR (HLTAID009) (or willing to attain)
- Certificate - First Aid in an Education Setting (HLTAID012) (or willing to attain)
- Child Protection (Geccko) Certificate or ability to obtain
