Our client is a well-established and reputable organisation within the commercial landscaping and environmental construction industry. They are recognised for delivering high-quality projects with a strong focus on safety sustainability and operational excellence while continuing to grow and expand their market presence.

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and optimise day-to-day operations across the business ensuring projects are delivered efficiently safely and to a high standard while supporting overall business performance and growth.

Reporting directly to the Director some of your responsibilities will include:

• Leading mentoring and supporting supervisors and operational teams
• Overseeing day-to-day operations across construction maintenance and project delivery
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and to quality standards
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients contractors and suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and ISO management systems
• Monitoring and improving operational performance across safety quality and delivery metrics
• Supporting budgeting and cost control across projects (financial experience advantageous)
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and productivity
• Assisting with resource planning scheduling and workforce coordination
• Supporting tender processes and project mobilisation as required

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or similar role
• Background in commercial landscaping construction or related industries
• Strong operational leadership with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams
• Solid understanding of project delivery scheduling and resource management
• Financial awareness with experience supporting budgets and cost control (not essential)
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance frameworks
• Excellent communication problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• A hands-on solutions-focused approach with high accountability
