About your service: Bowral Public School Bowral
Hourly Rate: $32 - $41 Per Hour 12% Super
Additional payment of $3.12 - $3.96 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme
- After School Care: 2:55 PM to 5:40 PM.
- Hours: Monday & Tuesday.
- Vacation Care starting 7 July 2026: Flexible upto 35 Hours per week.
- Travel: Work close to home.
- Professional development sessions are paid training sessions and Retention payments are above award.
Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
As our OOSH Service Assistant you will:
- Create Awesome Experiences: Assist in delivering science experiments sports tournaments fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do!
- Safety First Fun Always: Lead a safe inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar.
- Chef it up: Whip up healthy tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
- The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful integrated OOSH programs.
What You Bring to the Mix
- The Qualification: Youve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood Primary Teaching or School Aged Care Diploma Bachelors Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable but not essential).
- The Vibe: Youre warm engaging and have a can-do attitude.
- The Essentials: A valid Working With Children Check Child Protection Training Certificate First Aid CPR Anaphylaxis & . Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
