Lifebridge Australia Ltd is a community not-for-profit organisation with over 30 years experience in providing in-home Aged Care Services and NDIS Support in the NSW Far North Coast. Lifebridge is a well-established provider in our region with a turnover of approximately $14 million and employing over 130 staff.

Established in 1987 as Tweed Valley Respite Service Lifebridge has built a solid reputation of providing exceptional service delivery to its customers by delivering a wide range of person-centred services designed to support participants to achieve their goals increase their independence and be a part of their local community.

As we enter a new phase of strategic growth we are looking to maximise our impact and diversify our market reach.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking expressions of interest from a strategic values-led Non-Executive Director with a deep background in Business Development or Revenue Diversification.

In this governance role you will contribute your commercial acumen to help our Not-for-Profit identify evaluate and pursue objectives in relation to market positioning financial sustainability growth and scalability.

You will work alongside a collaborative diverse Board to provide strategic oversight and ensure robust governance compliance.

Board meetings are quarterly alternating between in-person and via addition there are Board Committee meetings and professional development activities largely using Teams.

Lifebridge pays Director an attractive stipend plus super per annum and reimburses expenses. It also may fund relevant professional development.

ABOUT YOU (SELECTION CRITERIA)

We are looking for a collaborative leader who brings:

Business Development Expertise: Proven success in corporate partnerships commercial strategy or market expansion (NFP experience is highly regarded but not mandatory).

Strategic Thinker: The capacity to review growth plans and ask constructive analytical questions that support sustainable growth whilst balancing high levels of care.

High Emotional Intelligence: Excellent interpersonal skills a collaborative mindset and the ability to engage respectfully with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Alignment with Purpose: A genuine passion for our mission and a commitment to maintaining public trust in the NFP sector. Previous experience in the aged care or human services sectors is valuable.

Desirable:

Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) or Governance Institute of Australia.

Prior experience on a NFP board.

Directors do not need to reside in the NSW Far North Coast however familiarity with the region would be advantageous.
