Night Porter

ibis Perth is seeking a Night Porter to join our team! This role aims to ensure the smooth and safe running of the operational activities within the hotel ensuring all guests receive high standards of customer service and care and is ideal for someone looking to start their career in the Front Office Department.

As our Night Porter you will:

• Welcome late arrivals and bid farewell to early departures with a warm and friendly attitude.

• Have good knowledge and understanding of all hotel facilities and outlets and able to answer customer queries quickly and effectively.

• Maintain and confirm reservation details and accounts for guests ensuring  details are correct.

• Undertake routine walks around the hotel and report irregularities to the Night Manager.

• Undertake room service duties.

• Ensure our guests receive the highest standards of care

• Ensure all Front of House public areas are cleaned and tidy.

• Support hotel operations and assist other departments in preparing for the next day.

Qualifications :

What are we looking for

• A friendly guest focused attitude and a passion for Hospitality

• Experience in Hospitality is preferred

• Strong communication skills with a problem solving mindset

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Understanding of hotel and financial security procedures as well as guest confidentiality
