Network Development Engineer , Edge Deployment

Key job responsibilities
- Design implement and operate small to mid-size network components and features applying current engineering best practices to deliver secure stable and maintainable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across routing protocols (such as BGP OSPF and ISIS) hardware and software platforms and network operating systems performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and improve network automation tools and processes that increase operational efficiency reduce manual effort and strengthen system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal partners to understand business requirements assess technical trade-offs and ensure network solutions meet customer needs.
- Document network designs configurations and operational procedures clearly so that current and future engineers can understand the intent behind each implementation and maintain systems effectively.

- Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols
- Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting
- Experience in major internet routing protocols specifically BGP and OSPF
- Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment

- Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures
- Experience working with customers to diagnose a problem and work towards resolution
