We are seeking energetic and experienced Kitchen Hands and Cleaners for our beautiful Aegis Murdoch Facility.
You should ideally be an empathetic person who:
- Enjoys working with the elderly.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Is reliable punctual and trustworthy.
- Has availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts over weekdays and weekends.
- Has good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Aegis will provide:

A working day will involve:
- Preparing and serving residents meals according to dietary / care plans in accordance with developed menus.
- Ensuring correct food handling techniques are always observed.
- Assist in organising catering personnel.
- Maintaining cleanliness within kitchen.
- Provide a clean & safe environment.
- Ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned & maintained at a high level.
You should possess the following:
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role (preferably in Healthcare/Aged Care Industry).
- Experience in food preparation and cooking for large number of people.
- A knowledge of food safety.
- At least 2 years experience in cleaning in hospital/ aged care setting
- Full Australian working rights and able to pass national police clearance.
