Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. API & Integration Development

Design develop and deploy APIs using MuleSoft:

o Experience APIs

o Process APIs

o System APIs

Build integrations between:

o SAP IS-U / Billing systems

o CRM platforms

o Payment gateways

o AMI / Smart Meter systems

o Data warehouse & analytics platforms

Develop REST/SOAP web services and real-time integrations.

2. Utilities System Integration

Support integrations for:

o Move-in / Move-out processes

o Billing & invoicing

o Meter data ingestion

o Customer onboarding

o Payment processing

Implement batch and real-time data exchange solutions.

Ensure high availability and performance for high transaction volumes.

3. API Management & Governance

Design and implement API-led connectivity architecture.

Use Anypoint API Manager for:

o Security policies

o Rate limiting

o OAuth/JWT authentication

Ensure compliance with enterprise integration standards.

Maintain API documentation in Anypoint Exchange.

4. DevOps & Deployment

Deploy applications via:

o CloudHub

o On-premise runtime

o Hybrid deployments

Implement CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor applications using Anypoint Monitoring.

Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting.

5. Testing & Support

Perform unit testing using MUnit.

Support SIT / UAT phases.

Provide L2/L3 production support.

Conduct root cause analysis for integration failures.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

4 years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.

Strong knowledge of:

o Mule 4

o DataWeave 2.0

o REST/SOAP services

o API-led connectivity

Experience in utilities system integration.

Good understanding of messaging systems (JMS MQ Kafka).

Preferred

Experience integrating with SAP IS-U.

Knowledge of utilities billing and customer lifecycle processes.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).

Familiarity with Agile methodology.

MuleSoft certification (preferred).

Educational Qualification

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering.

MuleSoft Certified Developer (preferred).
