The Micro Enterprise Project (MEP) initiative is a service within CLP that supports people with disability to create and grow a meaningful individually designed micro enterprise giving the person scope to develop their confidence competencies and career.

About the role

We are seeking a Micro Enterprise Coach to join our this role you will:

  • Inspire and discover alongside the person the possibility of operating their own micro enterprise and find their micro enterprise focus
  • Work in collaboration with the person and their key network members through the unique MEP 4 step process to create and launch a meaningful intentional individually designed micro enterprise
  • Assist the micro enterprise owner to recruit a personal assistant/mentor to support the day-to-day operation of their micro-enterprise
  • Provide ongoing motivation guidance and support to the micro enterprise owner personal assistant and key network members.
  • Uphold CLPs values and ensure services are safe sustainable and aligned with each persons vision for a good life.

  • You are a thoughtful energetic person who is an excellent communicator and understands the importance of building and maintaining good relationships.
  • You can work with complexity whilst engaging with people with disability and families in an inclusive respectful and compassionate manner.
  • You have strong skills working with people.
  • You can work well both autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Micro Enterprise Coaches have access to training and ongoing mentorship in the role.
  • Flexible working arrangements are in place work from home and on location with people in their local area and around the Adelaide metropolitan area.
  • Permanent part time role 30.4hours (0.8FTE) per week (some after-hours work may be required from time to time but this not a frequent occurrence).
  • Generous 6 weeks leave and motor vehicle allowance.

  • Current NDIS Worker and Working with Children Checks (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current Drivers Licence and have own vehicle to use for work purposes.
