The Role
Were seeking a creative and digitally savvy Marketing Content Specialist to join our Brand and Insights team on a 12-month maximum term contract. Combining specialist graphic design expertise with practical digital marketing capability youll independently develop and deliver high-quality visual communications and digital content that connect with customers communities and employees.
Youll apply professional judgement to maintain TasWaters brand integrity accessibility and quality standards while supporting the day-to-day operation and optimisation of our digital platforms. Working closely with stakeholders across the business youll provide specialist guidance and translate communication needs into visually compelling accessible and customer-focused creative solutions.
In this role you will:
- Design and develop creative marketing and communication materials across print and digital channels.
- Produce engaging content for social media websites email marketing and customer communications.
- Support the consistent application and governance of TasWaters brand across the organisation.
- Maintain and manage creative assets within TasWaters Digital Asset Management system.
- Publish schedule and optimise content across TasWaters digital platforms.
- Build test and deploy electronic direct marketing (EDM) communications.
- Support day-to-day social media management including content moderation tagging and community management.
- Monitor digital content performance and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand communication needs and deliver effective creative solutions.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of brand resources templates and digital content practices.

Were seeking someone who combines strong creative design capabilities with practical digital marketing experience and a passion for delivering high-quality customer communications.
To thrive in this role youll bring:
- A degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality graphic design and marketing collateral across print and digital channels.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign Illustrator Photoshop and Acrobat together with strongMicrosoft PowerPoint skills.
- Experience developing content for digital channels including websites social media and email marketing.
- Experience using digital marketing systems such as CMS platforms social media management tools email marketingplatforms and Digital Asset Management systems.
- Strong understanding of brand application and the ability to apply brand guidelines consistently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
Highly regarded:
- Photography and/or videography experience.
- Experience using digital marketing analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practice digital communication principles.
- Experience supporting integrated marketing customer engagement or behaviour change campaigns.

The Details
This role will be based in Hobart and attracts a salary range of $106708.64- $112636.89 per annum (inclusive of superannuation).
Please note this role is a 12-month maximum term contract.
