About the role
As Manager Schools Reform you will oversee complex strategic reform projects from planning through to implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations.
You will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering key initiatives while managing competing priorities stakeholder expectations and project risks in a dynamic environment.

About you
You are a confident and collaborative leader with demonstrated experience managing complex financial projects and driving strategic reform initiatives within large and fast-paced environments. Experience in financial strategy budgeting funding or financial transformation initiatives will be highly regarded.
You thrive when navigating competing priorities and are skilled at building strong stakeholder relationships influencing outcomes and leading teams through change.

- Strong project and program management experience ideally within complex financial budgeting or strategic reform environments
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- The ability to provide strategic advice and manage competing priorities effectively

- A collaborative approach with the ability to build commitment to change and reform initiatives
Key knowledge and experience
- Extensive experience in project design development and delivery / implementation in government agencies or commercial enterprises
- Substantial experience in managing teams and working collaboratively with a wide range of senior stakeholders to influence behaviour and achieve outcomes
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing theDepartments Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Departments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge skills and experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
