Job Summary

In this role you will

In this role you will lead the branchs performance and risk reporting making sure information is clear accurate and actionable for decision-makers.

Youll help shape reporting processes provide meaningful insights and improve how data is collected analysed and presented.

By combining strong analytical skills with a collaborative approach youll make it easier for the branch to monitor performance identify risks early and make confident decisions to deliver strategic outcomes.

Taking a portfolio-wide view youll highlight trends risks and opportunitie s across multiple projects and programs and provide recommendations that help the branch deliver on its strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain reporting tools and processes to analyse and communicate key business performance metrics trends and insights.

  • Act as the branch reporting process and tools owner leading continuous improvement for reporting accuracy efficiency and insight generation.

  • Design enhance and manage dashboards and data visualisations (e.g. Power BI Tableau) to provide transparent and timely performance insights.

  • Ensure performance information is accurate complete and fitforpurpose to support effective business performance management and issue identification.

  • Maintain reporting systems that identify and analyse performance and project risks enabling proactive mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor progress against annual business plan deliverables KPIs and milestones providing recommendations to support continuous improvement.

  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies to strengthen reliability and alignment across reporting channels.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to embed performance- and riskaware practices and support evidencebased decision-making.

About you

You are analytical and collaborative able to turn complex data into clear practical insights.

You take pride in delivering high-quality information that helps teams and leaders make confident evidence-based decisions.

You work well with project teams and stakeholders explaining findings in plain language and are organised calm under pressure and committed to improving reporting processes and data quality.

You are confident using systems and tools such as SAP Equip Power BI or Tableau to gather validate and analyse data translating complex datasets into actionable insights and recommendations.

You build trusted relationships with stakeholders and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the branch.

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in performance reporting business analytics and risk management in a large or complex organisation.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain reporting frameworks dashboards and performance monitoring tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present clear concise reports to senior audiences.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or relevant industry experience.
