Your Day on a PageJoin our team at Ashton Gardens nestled in the heart of East Maitland. Offering a safe friendly and relaxed lifestyle in a convenient location Ashton Gardens is home to a vibrant community of residents who value quality service and well-maintained a Maintenance Officer youll play a key role in ensuring the village remains safe attractive and operating smoothly. From coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance to supporting residents with day-to-day maintenance requests youll enjoy a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. Working both independently and as part of a close-knit team youll help create an exceptional living experience for our is a Part-time position working One day per week from 9.30am to 4pm (6.5 hours) with no weekend work. The day and start/finish time are flexible. Reporting to the Village Manager your duties will include;Coordinate and undertake general maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance across the village. Maintain village buildings common areas facilities and grounds to a high standard. Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance issues before they become problems. Support workplace health and safety compliance and report hazards as required. Maintain accurate maintenance records and update work orders using computer-based systems. Contribute to the presentation safety and overall resident experience within the Youll Make an ImpactYoure a hands-on problem solver who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service and takes pride in maintaining safe well-presented environments.
