Opal ANZ is an industry-leading paper and packaging business. We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at our state-of-the-art site in Matraville NSW as we are currently looking for a Papermaker-Trainee to come onboard.

The Mill operates on a rotating 12-hour Shift Roster 7 days a week. You will be paid an annualised salary based on 43 hours per week which incorporates rostered training days and an average of 3 hours additional time. The sportsman roster which we have adapted allows for 2 full weekends off out of every 4.

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

• Experiencein a high-tech large-scale manufacturing industry and /or a technical/ trade qualification
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Be able to learn and process a large amount of information quickly
• Good communication skills
• Be pro-active and flexible
• Safety focus with a customer first attitude
