As the Local Area Marketing Manager - Owned Media & Community within ALH Hotels you will lead and empower the delivery team responsible for owned digital channels local content creation and community partnerships across 350 iconic pubs nationwide. 

You will oversee channel strategy and operational standards across venue websites Google Business Profiles social media accounts digital screens and local directory listings. 

Working in close partnership with Local Area Marketing Partners and the Campaign Delivery team you will establish community sponsorship frameworks oversee local partnership activations and drive guest footfall visibility and loyalty at speed and scale.

Heres a snapshot of the responsibilities:

• Lead coach and resource the owned media and community team managing workload distribution and task allocations to maintain operational consistency and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
• Oversee the day-to-day management performance and accuracy of owned digital channels including venue websites social media accounts Google Business Profiles and local directory listings.
• Establish standardized workflows content schedules and quality assurance processes embedding dynamic scheduling systems and CMS tools for fast and efficient publishing.
• Collaborate with the Campaign Delivery team to ingest key art and campaign assets ensuring the synchronised digital deployment and localisation of national and state-based campaigns across owned touchpoints.
• Develop scalable frameworks for identifying securing and activating local community relationships sports club sponsorships and local business partnerships to drive venue visibility and guest engagement.
• Oversee execution support for venue activations and key promotional events while enforcing stroct governance across ABAC RSA RSG privacy laws and gaming regulations.

Qualifications :

Now lets talk about you: 

• 6 years in digital marketing and social media management preferably within multi-site retail or hospitality environments.
• A proven track record in leading mentoring and developing high-performing digital content and media delivery teams.
• Deep understanding of digital platforms including Meta Business Suite Google Business Profile Content Management Systems (CMS) local listings management and social media scheduling tools.
• Demonstrated experience building and executing scalable community sponsorship frameworks and local business partnership strategies.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills to partner with field teams and central delivery specialists paired with high brand adherence and compliance discipline.
• A tertiary qualification preferably in marketing or equivalent practical industry experience.
