Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Inspect diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components of light vehicles.
- Conduct routine servicing preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs.
- Dismantle and reassemble engines transmissions braking systems steering and suspension.
- Perform diagnostic testing and interpret fault codes using electronic equipment.
- Repair and replace defective parts ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct wheel alignments balancing and tyre replacements.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records in compliance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workshop operations.
- Ensures compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Requirements
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.
- Valid drivers licence.
- Experience working with both petrol and diesel engines.
- Familiarity with 4WD vehicles and a range of brands (Toyota Ford Nissan Mitsubishi Isuzu).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use workshop tools diagnostic equipment and software effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Required Skills:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as an Automotive / Motor Mechanic Mandatory experience with luxury or premium brands such as BMW Mercedes-Benz Audi Lexus Jaguar Land Rover Porsche etc. Candidate must be eligible to apply for Australian Skill Assessment (TRA) Willingness to relocate and work in Australia Basic English communication skills (IELTS required at visa stage)
