About the Role:
Based at our facility in Mundaring this is your chance to create meaningful joyful experiences for our residents! Youll get to know each persons life story interests and goals and design engaging individual and group activities that meet their psychosocial cognitive spiritual and occupational needs.
Youll plan and coordinate fun eventsboth inside and outside the communityensuring everyone feels included and connected. For residents living with dementia or complex needs youll create tailored activities that reflect their abilities and preferences reviewing plans regularly to ensure ongoing support.
Youll maintain clear easy-to-read activity calendars track outcomes and report progress to the Residential Manager. The role also involves supporting volunteers fostering their involvement and partnering with residents to co-design programs and initiatives.
This is a hands-on creative role where you can make a real difference bring energy and positivity to everyday life and help residents stay active engaged and connected in a vibrant welcoming community.
Roster:
Part-time role Two days per week Tuesday and Thursday (30 hours per fortnight)
8:00am 4:00pm or 8:30am 4:30pm

About You:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (or equivalent)
- Current drivers licence
- Experience in aged care including supporting people living with dementia and end-of-life care
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- Understanding of BaptistCares Christian values
- Strong communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
