Synergie Australia is currently recruiting for an experienced Leading Hand Electrician to join a growing team delivering a range of commercial defence and infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role where youll supervise projects mentor apprentices and electricians and play a key part in delivering high-quality electrical work.

As the Leading Hand Electrician youll be responsible for leading crews on site while ensuring projects are delivered safely efficiently and to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supervising electricians and apprentices on site
• Planning coordinating and delivering electrical projects
• Ensuring work is completed safely on time and to a high standard
• Liaising with clients project managers and other trades
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and plans
• Carrying out installations maintenance testing and fault finding
• Maintaining compliance with Australian Standards and WHS requirements
• Mentoring apprentices and promoting a positive team culture
• Taking ownership of projects from start to finish

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (or the ability to obtain an NT licence)
• Extensive commercial electrical experience
• Previous experience leading teams or supervising projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities
• Current White Card
• Current Drivers Licence
• Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety

• Experience working on defence government or infrastructure projects
• Working at Heights EWP CPR/LVR and First Aid certifications
• Experience mentoring apprentices
