What youll be doing:

Hastings Deering is seeking a Laboratory Systems Engineer to own and optimise the digital backbone of our laboratory operations. Acting as the technical expert youll configure support and enhance laboratory systems ensuring seamless data flow system reliability and compliance.

This is a practical on-site role where youll work closely with laboratory teams to solve real problems improve workflows and drive productivity through smart technology solutions.

In this role you will:

• Configure support and optimise LIMS/ELN and instrument integrations

• Ensure secure accurate data flow between lab and enterprise systems

• Troubleshoot complex system and instrument issues on-site

• Improve workflows usability and turnaround times

• Partner with vendors and IT teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions

• Support validation governance and audit readiness

About you:

• 6 years in OT lab systems or enterprise technology support

• Experience with integration middleware and data exchange

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to translate operational needs into technical solutions
