ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high quality meals that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking a reliable Kitchenhand to join our team at RAAF Base Amberley. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and maintaining high standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties
Wash dishes utensils and maintain kitchen cleanliness
Support chefs during meal service
Maintain clean and organised work areas
Follow food safety and hygiene standards

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in kitchen or hospitality environments preferred
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work in a team environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
