Job Summary

This is a 12-month contract position.

As our highly valued Investigations Analyst based in Brisbane your role will investigate complex Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) matters supporting our purpose of helping every Australian own their own home.

Youll make an impact by:

  • Conducting complex AML/CTF investigations analysing customer activity and preparing high-quality Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) where to support regulatory obligations.
  • Managing requests for information from law enforcement agencies ensuring accurate timely and compliant responses within statutory timeframes.
  • Assessing financial crime risks and preparing clear evidence-based recommendations that support customer retention or exit decisions.
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen processes controls and investigation practices to enhance our financial crime risk management capability.
  • Building trusted relationships across the business while maintaining current knowledge of financial crime trends regulatory requirements and industry best practice.

What youll bring

You will bring:

  • Experience in AML/CTF financial crime investigations fraud compliance or a related financial services environment.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication skills including the ability to prepare clear concise and well-supported reports.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work across multiple business areas and external agencies.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and meeting regulatory timeframes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience) will be highly regarded.
