Hume Anglican Grammar is a multi-campus co-educational Anglican Diocesan School offering education from Prep to Year 12 in the Northern growth corridor of Melbourne.

With campuses already in Mickleham Donnybrook and Kalkallo the School has announced its acquisition of a 10-hectare parcel of land in Wollert for its fourth campus planned to open in 2033. This campus will comprise another two Primary schools and a Secondary school and when it reaches its capacity will enrol over 2500 all Hume Anglican Grammar willultimately educateover 6000 students.
As one of Victorias fastest growing schools it is expected to be one of the largest non-government schools in the state with plans for further expansion.

Our instrumental music program is growing and we are seeking an Instrumental Music Tutor to cater for demand predominantly at the Donnybrook campus in a casual capacity. We are looking for a Strings tutor equipped to tutor students in individual or paired lessons.
Instrumental Music Tutors share a significant responsibility in preparing young people to lead successful and productive lives by contributing to their holistic development. They are responsible for exemplary tuition within the Performing Arts department and for forming the strongest of relationships with students colleagues and parents. Instrumental Music Tutors are responsible for teaching as part of Hume Anglican Grammars co-curricular program and may also be responsible for delivering core curriculum (such as compulsory Instrumental Music Programs).
Requirements of the Role:
- Extensive musical experience in the instrument(s) of instruction
- Current Working with Children Check
- Understanding of and experience with education at the appropriate age group; including pastoral care pedagogy curriculum development and student learning
- Commitment to the Schools Christian ethos in the Anglican tradition
- Understanding of and experience with the needs and safety of children with a disability Aboriginal background and/or from culturally and/or linguistic diverse backgrounds
- Obligation to the principles and practices of OHS Equal Opportunity and Risk Management.
