Whats the role
As an inbound Business Banker youll be the first point of contact for business customers providing exceptional service and support over the phone. Working within our inbound contact centre youll assist customers with a range of enquiries including account support online banking access technical assistance and everyday business banking needs.
What do I need
This is a great opportunity to build your foundational understanding of Business Banking with the potential to grow your career into opportunities such as senior servicing and sales roles Home Lending positions Local Business Banking and a range of other pathways across the bank.
To support our business customers this role requires availability to work a standard full time shift on a rotating roster between 8:00am and 8:00pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend availability required to support customer demand.
Key qualities include:
- 12 months customer service experience in any industry
- A genuine interest in banking business or financial services
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to learn quickly and navigate multiple computer systems
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering great customer outcomes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and develop new banking capabilities
As were making a significant investment in your development youll also need to be able to commit to:
- An initial 9-week full-time training program (9:00am to 5:00pm) commencing 6 November 2026
- Transitioning onto a rotating roster upon completion of training
- Working between 8:00am and 8:00pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts when required
