ILS Manager

Join our Downer Professional Servicesteam and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australias future.

Downer Professional Services comprises of three business units our Technical Advisory and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence. Together we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defence and National Security.

We currently have an opportunity for an ILS Manager in Adelaide to contribute to the continuous improvement through stakeholder engagement effective planning and professional development.

What Youll Do

This role offers a broad scope with key role responsibilities including:

Support logistics governance warehousing assurance and infrastructure planning.
Engage stakeholders to establish and deliver agreed supply and equipment processes.
Assist with procurement planning and timely delivery of required materials.
Manage supply chain accounts inventory systems and data accuracy.
Coordinate delivery tracking and integration of equipment into shipyard operations.
Support ship loading commissioning activities and operational readiness.
Manage excess stock through return disposal or reintegration.

What Youll Bring

Strong background in major Defence project environments including experience working within frameworks equivalent to CASG Acquisition Category.
Deep understanding of ILS principles deliverables and Defence sustainment requirements including assessments and configuration management.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor guide and uplift less experienced logistics personnel.

Due to the nature of the work you are required to currently hold and maintain an AGSVA Security clearance as required by the some instances compliance withInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
