You can expect variety in your work. For example one day you may be required to visit a wastewater treatment plant or drainage site collecting samples. The next you might be completing data entry or preparing instruments for field work.

Youll receive a high standard of training and development in your role from experienced staff youll learn from some of the best in the industry. This is an area that is extremely valuable to our state in a time of climate change.

Key skills and experience:

  • Ability to undertake manual field duties with minimum supervision
  • Accurate with numbers as measurements will need to be taken in the field
  • Strong Awareness of Safety in the field and a proactive approach to safe workplace
  • Previous Diploma will be well regarded but not essential
  • Strength in year 12 Mathematics particularly Applications
  • Demonstrated good computing skills use of Microsoft suite of systems and ability to learn and apply new business and technical computing applications.

Who is eligible

  • Successfully completed Year 12
  • Hold a full WA Drivers Licence
  • Positive attitudes will see you do well
  • Good verbal and written communication skills be committed enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills in a team environment
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment as well as with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development with strong time management skills to balance work responsibilities and ongoing study
