Renumeration: Starting from $70000 per annum 12% Superannuation

Montessori Care is a registered NDIS and aged care provider based in Summer Hill Sydney. We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Lead to lead our human resources and recruitment functions as we continue to grow across Sydney and NSW.

About the Role

You will own the full HR and recruitment lifecycle at Montessori Care. That means end-to-end recruitment across all business units employment contract management payroll compliance award interpretation workforce communications and HR advisory support to the leadership team. You will report directly to the CEO and operate with a high degree of autonomy.

This is a hands-on generalist role that suits someone who is equally comfortable drafting a contract interpreting an award running a recruitment campaign and advising management on a sensitive people matter.

What You Will Do

  • Lead recruitment across all roles from job brief to offer including oversight of the Recruitment Coordinator and Recruitment Officer
  • Draft and maintain employment contracts and position descriptions across all role types
  • Conduct annual wage rate reviews and interpret SCHADS Award and MA000027 obligations
  • Manage onboarding offboarding and workforce compliance documentation
  • Coordinate the EAP and internal HR communications across support worker and head office staff groups
  • Advise leadership on Fair Work Act obligations performance management and disciplinary processes
  • Support organisational design restructures and reporting line changes as directed by the CEO

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR management or senior HR advisory role
  • Sound working knowledge of the Fair Work Act 2009 and modern award interpretation
  • Experience managing recruitment across multiple role types and business units
  • Confident drafting employment contracts and HR documentation
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with employer-sponsored visa programs including Subclass 482 is highly regarded

Salary

Starting from $70000 per year plus 12% superannuation commensurate with experience. Part Time and casual considered for the right candidate.
