HSE Advisor Shutdown

THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor for a major mechanical shutdown based in the Rockingham/Kwinana area.

Duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Carrying out various site inspections identifying hazards and reducing risk(s)
• Plan and manage pre-start / toolbox meetings
• Promote a strong health and safety culture within the site work group
• Assist with investigations of incidents and near misses including reviewing and amending risk assessments
• Provide leadership and support to supervision to assist with workplace inspections and audits
• Liaising with management on all site HSE related matters to suggest potential improvements and/or further development
• Compiling and presenting reports statistics and regular bulletins/newsletters

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous demonstrated experienced in a site based HSE role
• Previous experience in an SMP maintenance environment
• Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Current WA drivers licence
• Relevant experience in relation to carrying out investigations and audits
• Sound relationship building skills
