About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to step into a Head Veterinary Nurse role with exposure to Practice Management perfect for someone ready to take the next step in their career or an experienced leader looking for a new challenge.
Youll remain clinically hands-on while also gaining valuable experience across leadership operations and people management all supported by an experienced Practice Manager who will mentor and guide you.

What youll be doing:

• Leading mentoring and supporting the nursing team day-to-day
• Coordinating workflow to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations
• Supporting vets across anaesthesia surgery and patient care
• Maintaining high clinical standards protocols and patient outcomes
• Managing rostering and contributing to team performance and engagement
• Assisting with stock control ordering and equipment management
• Supporting client experience including handling feedback and complaints
• Promoting a positive collaborative and high-performing team culture
• Working a rotating roster including 1 in 3 weekends

What Were Looking For

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• Confident across all aspects of veterinary nursing including anaesthesia and surgery
• An interest in leadership with either proven experience or readiness to step up
• Strong communication organisation and problem-solving abilities
• A genuine passion for patient care and delivering excellent client experiences
• A team-first attitude with the ability to lead by example
