About us

No To Violence (NTV) is Australias peak body for individuals and organisations that work with men that use violence. We provide training sector development and advocacy across the sector. We operate the Mens Referral Service providing a counselling service and referral pathways directly to men who use violence. As a pro-feminist organisation women and children are at the centre of what we do by ending mens use of family violence families individuals and communities are safer.

As Head of State & Sector Development youll strengthen NTVs connections across Australia by building relationships with members partners and governments leading sector engagement initiatives and helping shape practice across the specialist mens family violence sector. Youll oversee membership Communities of Practice the National Conference and strategic partnerships ensuring the voices and experiences of the sector help inform our advocacy learning and organisational priorities. The role is based in Melbourne or Sydney with flexible working arrangements and occasional interstate travel.

About you

Youre an experienced leader who enjoys bringing people together building trusted relationships and influencing change. You understand how strong partnerships sector leadership and collaboration can strengthen services and improve outcomes.

To be successful youll have:

• Experience leading sector development stakeholder engagement or practice leadership functions.
• A track record of building and maintaining strategic partnerships across government the community sector or related industries.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholders.
• An understanding of the gendered nature of family violence and a commitment to strengthening the specialist mens family violence sector.
