Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our Canberra team supporting a portfolio of government facilities. Reporting to the Facilities team youll be responsible for delivering a broad range of preventative and reactive maintenance services across commercial buildings and facilities throughout Canberra.

Your responsibilities will include:

• General building repairs and maintenance

• Carpentry painting patching and finishing works

• Minor plumbing repairs and maintenance

• Basic HVAC and building services maintenance

• Ceiling tile replacement and door hardware repairs

• Routine site inspections and fault identification

• Troubleshooting building maintenance issues

• Assisting with equipment and furniture relocations

• Responding to maintenance requests and breakdowns

• Maintaining safe work practices at all times

Were looking for a practical motivated professional who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

To be successful you will have:

• Australian Citizenship

• A trade qualification or strong trade background

• Experience in commercial facilities or building maintenance

• Your own tools

• Current Australian Drivers Licence

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities

• Good communication and customer service skills

Candidates with any of the following will be highly regarded:

• Current NV1 Security Clearance

• Current Baseline Security Clearance

• Expired NV1 or Baseline Clearance (eligible for reactivation)
