Group General Manager Property

What would I be doing
As our Group General Manager - Property you will provide strategic leadership and end-to-end stewardship of our portfolio across commercial and residential assets.
This will include:
- Leadership: Provide leadership of the property function including developing and motivating a high performing property team and promoting accountability continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Strategy: Lead develop and execute CPL Groups property strategy ensuring financially sustainable outcomes. This will include provision of end-to-end leadership across the property lifecycle including acquisition leasing capital projects maintenance and disposals.
- Transaction Management & Lease Administration: Delivery of all property transactions leasing and lease administration activity including new sites renewals and exits acting as lessee (and lessor where required).
- Operational and Contractual Management: Oversee all property operations including facilities management lease and property administration tenancy coordination project oversight and outsourced service delivery.
- Performance Management: Establish and maintain robust asset and performance management and governance frameworks using data business insight risk analysis and market intelligence to inform decision-making.
- Financial Management: Lead the development management and oversight of property budgets variance reporting capital plans and forecasts as well as timely reporting for Executive and Board oversight and decision-making.

What youll need
This includes:
- Minimum 8 years experience in a senior property leadership role with extensive knowledge of real estate principles practices and procedures.
- Ability to develop implement and execute property strategy.
- Experience in leading lease negotiations and transaction management activities.
- Knowledge of relevant building and WHSE regulations and acts.
- Demonstrated experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and requirements including high level oral and written communication.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial capability including budgeting capital planning financial modelling business case development and performance analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with ability to assess complex situations identify risk and implement practical solutions.
- A passion for people and a focus on great customer service.
- A commitment to working together to deliver great outcomes.
- Great listening and respectful communication skills.

- A National Police Check.
